Closed Course for the City of Mountlake Terrace.

This course is a follow-on course to our original De-escalation for Civilian Staff class. This practical course assumes participants have some level of self-awareness and good self-management strategies. In Practical De-escalation we discuss the Behavioral Influence Stairway Model and the Thought/Emotion/Behavior Matrix. We provide science based active communication strategies designed to influence the behavior of those in crisis.
